Be inspired by stories of transformation and reform from across the Scottish public sector landscape.
The ‘Reform in Action’ repository gathers together films and case studies which tell the story of Public Service Reform in Scotland. These stories aim to provide Public Sector Leaders with inspiration and new ideas whilst helping to coach and support organisations on their own transformation journeys. The stories showcase a wide range of transformation themes including, but not limited to:
- Digital transformation
- Increased efficiencies
- Partnership working
- Reskilling the workforce
- Process improvements
These are our public services’ own stories of transformation and we’re keen to add to them. Stories about changes in back-office operations which free up resources for front line delivery. Stories about reconfiguring how services are delivered in order to better meet people’s needs now and sustainably in future – for instance through holistic support for people, and by preventing harm and moderating the demands this places on crisis intervention services. Stories about empowering our communities, businesses and third sector to take more control of their own affairs, where they so wish and with the right support. And stories about how our dedicated public sector staff and leaders can take pride and satisfaction in making a positive difference for Scotland.
